Shawnee (N.J.) 2017 attackman/midfielder Mike Shinske has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Penn State University.

Why did you choose the school? “Everything about Penn State seemed to be a perfect fit: The high academic and athletic standards, the coaching staff, and my future teammates.”
Thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “It was a great team experience and our seniors will be missed. We have some unfinished business to win the State Championship and I definitely think we have the players and coaching to do it.”
