Salesianum School (DE) rising senior midfielder Christian Baldi has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Manhattan College.
Christian Baldi ledger:
High School: Salesianum School
Graduation Year: 2015
Position: Midfield
College Choice: Manhattan College

Major lacrosse honors: 2X Delaware State Champion, Under Armour tryout Top 88, Lehigh Showcase All Star, MVP tournament All-Star. Brine Lacrossse National Classic, Pride of Pennsylvania champion. 3d Bluechip, Top 205
What will you major in/study? Engineering
Why did you choose Manhattan? “I chose Manhattan because the school offers a good balance between academics and athletics. The school also has a strong tradition of Engineering which is what I am interested in studying. The size of the school and the proximity to New York City were also very important factors. Coach Steve Manitta is also building a strong lacrosse program and I am excited to be a part of that.”
Outlook for your High School team? “After a very successful season we are looking to gain more National recognition and win another Delaware State Championship.”
Additional Comments: “First of all I would like to thank my family for all their support. I would especially like to thank my Dad for all of his guidance throughout my lacrosse career. I would like to thank my first club coach Peter Duncan for teaching me the fundamentals. I would like to thank everyone in the Twist organization especially my current coaches Brian Vetter and Steve Henze. Thank you to all my Salesianum teammates and coaches Bob Healy and Shawn Plews.”
