Why did you choose your school: “My top priority was choosing a school with a strong academic profile and a well-respected lacrosse program, regardless of its Division. W&L puts the appropriate emphasis on academics and athletics and I feel that in the long run, I will be able to make an impact on the field, in the classroom and in the future by attending W&L. When I visited, I loved the campus and everyone there was welcoming. I am especially appreciative of Coach (Gene) McCabe’s confidence in my abilities.”
Thoughts on the past HS season and outlook for next year: “We had a good season last year with an unfortunate loss in the state championship. We have a strong senior class that is ready to lead the team back to the state championship to reclaim the trophy.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents and family for all that they have provided me. I would also like to thank all my coaches: Coach Healy and Coach Plews from Salesianum; my middle school coach, Coach Duncan; Coach Kupp, Coach Manney, Coach Hayes, and Coach Deckelbaum from NXT. A special thanks to Dan Deckelbaum for the individual training throughout my high school career. Also, a thanks to Coach Mosier (soccer) for being understanding and supportive of the two-sport athletic process.”
Other schools considered: Dartmouth, Richmond, Swarthmore, Amherst
