Perkiomen Valley 2015 defenseman Dan Devlin has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Immaculata University.

Dan Devlin log:

Dan Devlin
Dan Devlin

High School: Perkiomen Valley High School

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Defense

College Choice: Immaculata University

Club Affiliation: Black Bear

Major lacrosse honors, Showcases: Saint Joe’s and Curry College Showcases

Academic honors: Honor Roll throughout high school

What will you major in/study? Criminology

Why did you choose the school? “As I arrived at Immaculata for my tour and overnight I felt right at home. I believe that Immaculata offers me a chance to succeed on and off the field. I liked Coach (Mickey) Hover’s outlook on the team and I feel that I can go to Immaculata and make an impact right away. I believe Immaculata offers me a chance to be successful in life after college with their high academic standards.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? After losing a lot of key players to graduation, our team has been working hard in the off season to fill the missing pieces. I believe we have a chance to make a strong run in the conference and have a very successful season this Spring, and I believe we will be a force in the PAC-10.”

Other comments: “First, I would like to thank my parents and family for always being at every game and helping me get to where I am today. I would also like to thank my coaches, Coach Churchey, Coach Defeo and the rest of the Perkiomen Valley Lacrosse staff for helping me become the player I am and helping me through this process. Lastly, I would like to give a shoutout to my past and present teammates because without them none of this would be possible.”

Other schools considered? Curry College, Hood College, Albright College, Arizona State University
