Penncrest 2016 attackman Alex Bonnett has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Hartford.

Major lacrosse honors, All-Star teams, Camps, Showcases: Starter on Central League and PIAA champions, Honorable Mention All-Delco, Boston Legacy Invitational Honorable Mention, Nike Blue Chip.
What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose the school? “I loved Hartford from the minute I stepped on the campus. It was exactly what I wanted in a school; (it is the) perfect size, and the campus was great, the coaching staff had a lot to say and really made me want to be a part of the Hawk family.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “We graduated an extremely talented group or seniors last year, but we do return a lot of talented underclassmen. We are looking to make another run this year and compete for another State Championship.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank the whole HEADstrong organization for their support in my play over the years; Coach Brian Neary for being very helpful in my recruiting process since my freshman year; and Coach Ebe Helm and Coach Mackrides and the whole Dukes Organization for their help while I was with them this past summer. I would like to thank my friends and family for all their support over the years, especially my mother and father for putting endless time in to get me to tournaments, games and practices.”
