Owen J. Roberts 2015 goalie Brandon Calle has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Elizabethtown College.
Brandon Calle log:
High School: Owen J Roberts
Graduation Year: 2015
Position: Goalie
College Choice: Elizabethtown College
Club Affiliation: Main Line Lacrosse
Major lacrosse honors: Lehigh Valley Showcase All-Star
Academic honors: Honor Roll
What will you major in/study? Physical Therapy
Why did you choose the school? “I chose Elizabethtown because I really like what Coach (Drew) Delaney has done with the team while he’s been there. I feel like he can take the team farther than they’ve ever been. It’s a beautiful campus and they have a very good physical therapy program.”
Thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “We did really well with our out-of-league games, but struggled to beat our league rival, Spring-Ford. This season we hope to keep the same performance out of league, win the league championship and get farther in Districts.”
Thank You: “I want to thank my parents for their undying support. I also want to thank my coaches Ben Carville, Andrew German, and Kacy Small for developing me to be the goalie that I am today. Without them I wouldn’t have this opportunity.”
Other schools considered? University of Scranton, Immaculata, and Ithaca
