Methacton 2015 attackman Keith White has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Stevenson University.

Keith White log:

Keith White
Keith White

High School: Methacton High School

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Attack

College Choice: Stevenson University

Club Affiliation: Duke’s Lacrosse Club

Lacrosse Honors: Started at Methacton H.S. since freshman year, lead team in goals Sophomore and Junior year, Second Team All League sophomore and Junior year, Nike Blue Chip Rising Sophomore and Senior year

Academic Honors: Methacton “Mr. Outstanding Achievement Award”, Honor Roll all of Sophomore year, Meritorious Honor Roll and Honor Roll Junior Year

What would you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose the School? “I chose Stevenson University because I really liked how new the college was; and the classroom sizes were small, which is very important to me, I liked the Lacrosse team and Coach (Paul) Cantabene and the Stevenson lacrosse staff were welcoming and made me feel at home when I am on campus.”

Outlook for next season? “This year we have a great chance at winning the PAC-10. We are returning a lot of starters from last year and think we have a great chance at competing with the other good teams in our district.”

Other Comments: “I would like to thank my family because without them I would not be where I am today. My brother, TJ, really taught me how to play the game right and be a great competitor. I would like to thank the Duke’s Lacrosse Club staff, especially Coach Ebe Helm and Jason Christmas, who always believed in me and taught me a lot of great skills to be a great lacrosse player, but also taught me how to be a great man off the field. Would like to thank my high school head coach, Nat Ryan, who made me switch things up when it came to shooting because goalies always knew where I was going to shoot freshman year; but really took time to teach me and made me an all around better play as I got older.”

Other schools considered? Cabrini College, Seton Hill, Washington College.
