Luke Hoffman

High School: Malvern Prep

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Quinnipiac University

Club Affiliation: Old School LC

Lacrosse Honors: Top 205 All-Star, 2013 Brine National All-American, Philly Summer Showcase All-Star, Varsity as a Sophomore, 2x Inter-Ac League Champion, Inter-Ac Invitational Champion, Philly Under Armour tryouts Top 44

What will you major in/study? Business/Communications

Why did you choose Quinnipiac? “I chose Quinnipiac because of their strong academics and athletics, both of which will help me achieve my future goals. The campus and facilities are incredible and I can’t wait to play in the new stadium. I also believe that Coach (Eric) Fekete and Coach (Bill) Tully are building something special at Quinnipiac and I’m excited to be a part of that.”

Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “We had a great season last year finishing with a 24-0 record. Although we lost some extremely talented seniors, we are returning a core group of guys and I know every one of us is looking forward to defending the Inter-Ac title.”

Thank You: “First, I would like to thank my parents for all the opportunities that they have provided for me.

“Second, I would like to thank the coaching staff at Malvern. John McEvoy, Todd MacFarlane, Matt Mackrides, Steve Holmes, and Matt McCormick all of which played a major part in my development as a player and as a man.

“Lastly, I would like to thank my teammates at Malvern, especially the class of 2014. Without each of these people in my life I would not be the person that I am.”

Other schools considered: St. Joe’s, Richmond, Lafayette
