Miller Place High School (NY) 2017 midfielder Kevin Gersbeck has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

Academic honors, service projects: National Honor Society, Honor Roll 2013-2014, Natural Helper
What will you major in/study? “I have volunteered at St. Charles Hospital in the Physical Therapy department and at this time I am thinking of majoring in that.”
Why did you choose Lehigh? “Lehigh has a strong combination of academics and athletics. I like Coach (Kevin) Cassese’s outlook for the team in the years to come.”
What is your team’s outlook for next season? “My High School team is also my travel team. We were Suffolk County champs in 2013 and lost in the Suffolk County finals in 2014. We are looking to come back to win the Long Island Championship in 2015.”
