Why did you choose the school? “I chose Cornell because it has a great lacrosse program, a strong sense of community and a rigorous academic program. The campus has so much to offer, it is incredible. Coaches (Matt) Kerwick, (Peter) Milliman and (Chris) Kivlen put a great deal of emphasis on personal integrity and the importance of being a scholar athlete which are things that I value, too, so I felt very comfortable with them.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “We have a talented Senior Class at Haverford this year so we will be well led and very competitive again. We play in one of the toughest leagues in the nation and look forward to competing at the highest level every time we step on the field.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank Coach John Nostrant, who has been an amazing coach for me with the Philadelphia Fever, Mesa Fresh and Haverford. I appreciate his guidance and help in the recruiting process. Thank you to Coaches Holmes, Loving and Petrone for all their support and belief in me as a player. I thank Coach Ebe Helm and Coach Jason Christmas for welcoming me to the Duke’s Club and giving me the opportunity to play with another great team. Most of all, I would like to thank my mom for always being there for me and telling me I can achieve anything I put my mind to, for my brother and grandparents’ constant enthusiasm; and of course, thanks to my dad for all those out of town tournaments and the countless shots in the backyard.”

Other schools considered? Harvard, Brown, Princeton
