Garnet Valley 2015 LSM/defenseman Alex Middleman has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Ursinus College.

What will you major in/study? Biology/Exercise and Sports Science
Why did you choose school? “When I first visited Ursinus, I knew it was an ideal fit for me. The college has the perfect combination of athletics and academics as well as a great location. Ursinus has outstanding science programs which coincide with my interests. Coach (Jamie) Steele made me immediately feel welcome. He has a plan to take his team to the next level and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.”
Outlook for your High School team? “This year we have a strong group of senior and underclassmen who work well together as a team. Last year our season ended earlier than expected. This year we’re looking forward to winning big games and making a run to the State Championship.”
Other Comments: “I’d like to thank my family for supporting me through my lacrosse career. I’d also like to thank my high school coaches who made me into the player I am: Frank Urso, Joe Kivlen, Jim Snow, Eric Bartlett, and Vincent Bonaddio, as well as my 302 coaches, Jay Motta and Keevin Galbraith, for all they’ve taught me. Lastly, I’d like to thank Coach Steele for giving me the opportunity to play lacrosse at Ursinus.”
