Downingtown East 2015 midfielder Dylan Rittenhouse has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Swarthmore College.

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Swarthmore because of the great academic program and the competitive lacrosse in the Centennial conference. The school has a very good engineering program, and Coach (Pat) Gress is invested in improving the team on the field and in the classroom.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Coming off a 10-10 season, I think our team is motivated to do much better this year. We have many returning seniors and we have been putting in a lot of work in the offseason. Downingtown East will definitely be competing for the Ches-Mont championship.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents for helping me in the college recruiting process and supporting me throughout my years playing lacrosse. I also want to thank Coach Cliggett for helping me become a much better player over the year and helping me in the recruiting process. I would like to also thank the rest of the Downingtown East coaching staff, Pat Cullinan, Joe Karpinski, Pete Carrozza, and Brendan Staudt, for investing their time in helping the team become better as a whole.
