College Choice: University of Delaware
Club Affiliations: West Coast Starz, 212 Select
Lacrosse Honors: Black Card Showcase, Adrenaline Showcase, Terrapin Classic, Adrenaline Elite Shootout, All-Star at Adrenaline Elite Shootout, Adrenaline High Rollers, Varsity as a freshman
Academic Honors: 3.83 GPA
What will you major in/study? Political Science
Why did you choose Delaware? “I chose Delaware because, when I first arrived on campus for my visit, the entire coaching staff was very welcoming and made me feel like I was at home. While I was there, I also had the chance to talk to several players, who all told me that Delaware as a school and as a lacrosse program was a very good choice. I also saw a repeating pattern of people who went to UD and returned to work for their alma mater. This showed me that the school must be doing something right if they have that many people who want to return and continue to be a part of the DU family.”
Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “This past High School season, my team was quite good. We made it to the semi-finals for CIF, and lost. During that season, we only had one kid who was committed to a Division 1 program, and we still managed to upset big rivals and schools that have repeatedly won and competed for CIF championships.
“This upcoming year, we have lost a lot of key seniors, and our team will definitely be working hard to replace them. This year, we have three kids who are committed to Division 1 programs, including myself. We also have two kids committed to Division 3 programs. We also have a returning defense and two goalies which will definitely help us out.”
Thank You: “I would first like to thank my parents and family for all the support, and money to get me where I am today. I know that it wasn’t cheap to travel as much as I did, to play lacrosse, especially being in California.
“Secondly, I would like to thank all my Coaches, for teaching me what I know, and being a help with recruiting. Especially Alex Cade, Mike Acee, and Jono Zissi, who were all big factors in the recruiting process.”
Other schools considered: Princeton, Air Force, Rutgers, Navy
