Middleburg (VA) junior defenseman Zack Reiss has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.
Zack Reiss log:

High School: Middleburg Academy, VA
Grad year: 2015
Position: Defense
College choice: St. Joseph’s University
Club Team: Madlax
Lacrosse accolades: Team Captain, second team all conference,
Academic honors: First academic honor roll
Intended major: Finance
Why did you choose St. Joe’s: “I chose St. Joe’s because it is a great fit both athletically and academically for me. Coach (Taylor) Wray and his staff are doing big things with the lacrosse program and I want to be a part of that. Their approach to reach their goals is predicated off of outworking their opponents, and I love that. Also, going to school in Philly is sick.”
HS team’s outlook for 2014: “Our team looks to win our conference championship and make a run in the state playoffs. We have a lot of seniors and players that are hungry so I think we will have success in 2014.”
Other comments: “I’d like to thank my parents for helping and supporting me through the recruiting process. Without them, I would have never reached my goal. I’d also like to thank my coach, Rob Horne, for molding me into a better player and a better person.”
