Seneca (N.J.) 2016 defender Samantha Scarpello has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Rutgers University.

Why did you choose school? “I chose Rutgers because of the great coaching staff and facilities. I loved the school and the academic opportunities, I’m also very excited about Rutgers entering the Big-10 this year!”
Outlook for your High School team? “We have a young, fast team and we hope we can win our conference this year. We’re hoping to advance further in the playoffs this year.”
