Abby Goldstein log:

Abby Goldstein
Abby Goldstein

High School: Lower Merion High School

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Attack

College Choice: Ursinus College

Club Affiliation: Quaker City

Lacrosse Honors: 2014 Central League Honorable Mention, 2014 All-Main Line Honorable Mention, 2013 and 2014 JCC Maccabi Games Gold Medalist

What will you major in/study? Pre-Med

Why did you choose Ursinus? “Ursinus is the perfect fit for me both academically and athletically. The outstanding science program and small class size immediately attracted me to the school. The girls on the team welcomed me right away and Coach (Katie) Hagan and Coach Cullinan are building a fantastic program that I am excited to soon be a part of.”

Outlook for next season? “After only losing one senior, we have a lot of returning talent. With our returning players and the incoming freshman, I believe we have a chance to compete in the competitive Central League.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my club coaches, Coach D and Coach Shapiro, for helping me become the player I am today. I have learned so much from you guys, and the entire Quaker City coaching staff, the past 6 years and could not thank you enough.

“Thank you also to my high school coaches, Coach Baylis, Coach Gretchen, and Coach Alex. Your support and belief in me has allowed me to grow as both a player and a person. Thank you for pushing me and bringing out skills that I never thought I had. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you guys.

“A huge thank you to my parents for all of the time they have put into driving me to practices, tournaments, workouts, etc. Your support has been amazing.

“Last but not least, thank you to my Quaker City and Lower Merion teammates for being the most amazing people to play with. You’ve pushed me beyond my limits and helped shaped who I am today and I can’t thank you enough for that.”
