Somers (N.Y.) 2016 midfield/attack Isabella La Rocca has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose school? “I chose Lehigh because of its high academics and excellent lacrosse program. When I visited the campus, met the students and sat down with Coach (Jill) Redfern and Coach (Shannon) McHugh I knew it is where I wanted to go.”
Outlook for your High School team? “Last year we made it the furthest in program history to State Regionals. This year we are excited and ready to continue our growth and make it to the state final four. We have a lot of work in front of us to accomplish that goal.”
Other Comments: “I just wanted to thank my parents for taking me to all of my lacrosse tournaments and supporting me. I also want to thank my club coaches, Jackie Pierce and Steph Hopkins, as well as my high school coach, Jaime Irving, for helping me become the player I am today.”
