Eastside Catholic High School (WA) 2015 midfield-defense Ashley Blanton has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at La Salle University.

Why did you choose LaSalle? “I chose LaSalle University because right when I stepped on the campus for a clinic, I knew it was the one. I love the location of the school, the school size, the classes offered to me, the girls, and of course the coaches. Being able to play in the Atlantic 10 Conference under Coach Candace (Taglianetti Bossell) will be a true honor.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Coming off losing quite a few senior starters and losing in the quarter-finals, we are hungry for a state championship. I think our team has the speed, heart, athleticism, and desire to get there. It is looking to be the best year yet for our program.”
