High School: The Episcopal Academy

Graduation Year: 2016

Position: Goalie

College Choice: Virginia Tech

Club Affiliation: Brandywine Majors

Major lacrosse honors: 2014 Nike Elite 120 Championship, 2013 Maverik Showtime All-Star, 2013 Maverik Showtime Championship, 2013 Inside Lacrosse: Who Stood Out at Maverik, 2013 Nike Elite 120 Selection, 2013 Max Exposure, 2012 Philly Showcase Fab 40 All-Star

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Virginia Tech? “Virginia Tech offers everything that I was looking for in a school. It’s an excellent academic school with great athletic traditions located on a beautiful southern campus.

“Playing in the ACC, I’ll get to play against the best teams in the Country and the Hokies are in a good position to compete in those games and win them. Best of all, Virginia Tech was recently ranked as the #1 school that students love by Princeton Review and I’ll be coached by Team USA Goalie and Assistant Coach, Liz Hogan.”

Outlook for your High School team? “Episcopal Academy lost a very strong senior class, but we have a long history of success, some very talented players and an awesome new coach (Josie Ferri). We look really strong and we’re in a great position to defend our Inter-Ac Championship and PAISAA State title.”

Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my Brandywine Majors Coach, ChristyAnn Morello, for doing such a great job developing our team and providing the coaching that allowed us to be successful and have fun. I’d like to thank my goalie coach, Marya Fratoni (UConn 2015), for spending so many hours helping me learn the position and being such a great mentor and big sister. And, of course, I’d like to thank my parents for all of their love and support.”
