What will you major in/study? Pre-Vet Large Animal Science/Equine Management and Breeding

Why did you choose Del-Val? “I fell in love as soon as I heard about all of the things it could offer me. I was able to major in what I love and get hands on learning as well as continuing my lacrosse career at a College level.

“After tearing my ACL in July of 2013 I was unsure if College lacrosse would even be an option, but after reaching out to Coach (Ramona) Walters I knew that my injury would not hinder my College opportunities. The school and program sound as though they are a perfect match for me and I’m thrilled to be playing for them.”

Outlook for your High School team? “My High School team is definitely a great group of girls and our program continues to get stronger. Being lead by Coach Hite we will continue to improve our record from seasons before.”

Additional Comments: “I have so many people to thank for the opportunities in front of me. Most importantly are my parents for being so supportive and holding my hand through all the knee surgeries, as well as my brother and my friends who didn’t let me give up even when I wanted to.

“Additionally, I am so grateful to my Orthopedic Surgeon who is one of the real reasons I’m still able to play.

“I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life at Del-Val and I hope to make a big impact on the lacrosse program.”
