Academy of Notre Dame de Namur 2016 midfielder Julia Dambly has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Delaware.

Club Affiliation: Philly Blast Lacrosse

Lacrosse Honors: Varsity starter, Nike Top of the Class Coaches Award; Camps: Richmond University, Columbia University, College of William and Mary, Brown University, Nike Top of the Class

Academic Honors: Distinguished Honors, Scholar Athlete, National Society of High School Scholars

What will you major in/study? Biology/Pre-Med

Why did you choose Delaware? “I chose the University of Delaware because it has everything that I want both athletically and academically. Coach Kateri Linville has such high expectations for the team and I cannot wait to be a part of such an amazing program!”

Thoughts on next season? “This year, we are looking to dramatically improve both our record as well as our competitiveness from last year. We have a new coach and are looking forward to a very exciting and successful season!”
