Mount Saint Joseph Academy 2016 midfield-defender Mary Katherine Maloney has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Old Dominion University.

Why did you choose ODU? “I chose Old Dominion because I love the campus and the various majors it has to offer. I love Coach (Heather) Holt’s coaching style and intensity. ODU is the all around perfect fit for me.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Being a very young team last year with only two seniors, our underclassmen really had to step up to the plate. This year I hope to make it past the first round of districts and continue on.”
