Longstreth girls’ recruit: Cherokee (NJ) 2015 midfielder Havers commits to High Point

Cherokee High School (NJ) junior midfielder Jessica Havers has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at High Point University.

What will you major in/study? Math

Why did you choose High Point? “I chose High Point because I immediately fell in love with the school. The campus is beautiful and all of the players and coaches were so welcoming.”

Outlook for the upcoming season? “The Cherokee Chiefs are looking looking forward to a winning season. Our conference is tough, facing some of the best teams in South Jersey, but were planning on being a tough competitor as well.”

Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank all of my teammates and coaches for always encouraging me and making me the best player I could be. I couldn’t have committed without their help and support. My parents are also a big part of my life and will always be my #1 fans.”
