From Press Release

Lafayette men’s lacrosse head coach Jim Rogalski named Brian Bock (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford), Matt Confort (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City), Sonny Round (Summit, N.J./Summit) and Cory Scheuerle (Gladwyne, Pa./St. Joseph’s Prep) captains for the 2014-15 season.

“I am pleased to announce our captains for this season,” Rogalski said. “Matt, Brian, Sonny, and Cory have demonstrated tremendous leadership this fall both on and off of the field. I am very excited for them as I think they truly deserve this honor. These young men embody the character, dedication, sacrifice, and integrity that my staff and I have established as the core values of this program. I know that they will represent Lafayette College and our lacrosse family with great pride and excitement.”

Bock played in 12 games and tied for the team lead in 2014 with 15 goals and 20 points. The senior has appeared in 38 games in his career, tallying 54 goals and 35 assists.

Confort saw action in all 13 games last season in the midfield. The Garden City, N.Y. native picked up 18 ground balls and caused four turnovers in 2014.

A Summit, N.J. native, Round led the team with 12 assists last season while scoring eight goals. The senior has scored 42 goals since his arrival on College Hill.

Scheuerle appeared in 12 games last season, tallying two goals and an assist. The Gladwyn, Pa. native has played in 38 games for the Leopards with 22 goals.
