Mike Drake had four goals and two assists and Jason Kelly had four goals and one assist as host Salesianum School defeated St. Mark’s 16-7 Saturday in a boys’ lacrosse game delayed over an hour due to lightning.
Salesianum improves to 9-1.
James Hamory had three goals for the Spartans (7-6).
McKean 12, Dickinson 3
Four goals each by Brandon Margis and James Evans paced the Highlanders of McKean to a 12-3 win over the Rams of Dickinson.
Worcester Prep (MD) 6, Delmar 5
Larry Gilmore led the Cats with 5 goals.
Friends 9, Charter 8
Three goals each by Andrew Jaworski and Patrick Pearce paced the Friends Quakers to a 9-8 win over the Force of Charter. Tyler Zlupko led with 4 goals for the Force followed by Robert Johnston with 3.
Smyrna 6, St. Georges 5
Two goals each by Joseph Russillo and Edward Kaiser paced the Eagles of Smyrna to a 6-5 win over the Hawks of St. Georges.
Middletown 18, Hodgson 4
Three goals each by Andrew Gracie, Dylan Suarez, Connor Swalm and Shane Croce paced the Cavaliers of Middletown to an 18-4 win over the Silver Eagles of Hodgson.
Tatnall 13, Mt. Pleasant 1
Six goals by John Roberts, 4 by Austin Edge, 2 by Malcolm Gottshall paced the Hornets of Tatnall to a 13-1 win over the Green Knights of Mt. Pleasant.
Caesar Rodney 15, Brandywine 7
Three goals by David Schmidt and Hunter Schaeffer, 2 goals each by Thomas Aloe and Austin Hayward and Sean McLeish paced the Riders of Caesar Rodney to a 15-7 win over the Brandywine Bulldogs. For the Bulldogs, Joe Corbino led with 3 goals followed by Thomas Lengel with 2.
Girls
Middletown 24, Brandywine 10
Four goals by Kaileigh Kennedy, and 3 each by Margo Feldman and Katy Gotthold paced the Lady Cavaliers of Middletown to a 24-10 win over the Bulldogs of Brandywine. For the Lady Bulldogs, Cady Burnside led with 3 goals, 2 by Meaghan Ruoff, Nicole Fontana and Rose McBride.
