Position: Defense

College Choice: Lehigh University

Club Affiliations: Dukes LC and Big 4 Lacrosse

Lacrosse Honors: Brine National All-Stars 2012 and 2013, Varsity Letterman as freshman in 2014

What will you major in/study? Pre-Medical Science/Science

Why did you choose Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh University because I feel it is the perfect fit for me academically and athletically. When I visited the campus I knew it was the one for me. The location, size and feel of the campus are everything I am looking for. Coach (Kevin) Cassese, Coach (Errol) Wilson and the rest of the coaching staff are amazing, and made me feel very comfortable. It made my decision even easier.”

Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “This past season our team made it to District playoffs for the first time in school history. The roster was full of talent, however we lost several key seniors.

“This upcoming season will require our young talent to step up as we look to be very successful again. The league is full of competition which will push us to work even harder in order to have another successful season. I have no doubt that Coach Churchey will do whatever it takes to prepare us for the upcoming season.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my Dad, Mom and the rest of my family for making this possible. They have given me the opportunity to be successful as an athlete and as a person and have all been there to support me in everything I do.

“I would also like to first thank Harvey Smith, who was my youth lacrosse coach for many years. He saw my potential as a defenseman and helped me grow in this position. I would like to thank Billy McKinney and Eric Gregg for all their time and dedication to helping me improve as a defenseman and take my game to a higher level.

“In addition, I would like to thank Ebe Helm, Jason Christmas and the rest of the Dukes coaching staff for allowing me the opportunity to play for the Dukes Lacrosse Club. Being given this opportunity allowed me to continue to grow and excel at my craft.

“Finally, I would like to thank Bryan Churchey, Chris Defeo and the rest of the Perkiomen Valley coaching staff for all their support, dedication and countless time spent improving me as a player and assisting me through this entire process.”

Other schools considered: Villanova, Penn State, Binghamton
