Hull helped GW (1-1) to a dominating 22-7 season-opening victory over crosstown foe Howard last Wednesday. In her collegiate debut in Buff and Blue, the Radnor, Pa., native tallied four goals on five shots and picked up one ground ball.

The rookie’s four scores were the second-most on the team behind sophomore Rachel Mia’s game-high seven. Hull’s efforts also guided the Colonials to a season-opening win over the Bison for the third time in as many years, as they matched the program’s second-best single-game goal total of 22.

Hull connected with sophomore Allie Rash in the first half of action for her first collegiate goal, while her next two were unassisted. She also netted the final score of the contest off a pass from classmate Simone Haugen with just 35 seconds remaining.

Hull and the Colonials return to action on Friday, Feb. 22, when they host Denver at 3:30 p.m. at the GW Lacrosse Field on the Mount Vernon Campus.

Roanoke freshman McWilliams (Downingtown West) earns ODAC Honor Roll mention

Roanoke fresman attackman Tyler McWilliams (Downingtown West) scored three goals and notched two assists in Roanoke’s 13-12 loss to St. Mary’s on Sunday afternoon and was named to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Honor Roll. He also picked up three groundballs and took six shots, all of which were on goal.
