Nora McCallion had five goals, two assists and two craw controls to lead host Notre Dame Academy to a 9-7 victory over Villa Maria Academy today in non-league girls’ lacrosse.
Courtney Donovan added three goals and an assist and Kat Land made eight saves to earn the win for the Irish (2-0).
Megan Parsons led Villa Maria (2-1) with two goals, an assist, four groundballs and three draw controls and Bridget Steinetz posted eight saves in goal.
Boyertown 18, Owen J. Roberts 6
Rachel Engler collected seven goals and an assist and Kait DeHaven added four goals and two assists for the Bears in the PAC-10 win.
Pottstown 8, Upper Perkiomen 4
Kelsie Shumaker had three goals and three assists while Tyler Thorne had two goals to lead the Trojans.
Devon Kriebel led the Tribe with a pair of goals.
Penn Charter 8, Episcopal (VA) 3
The Quakers improved to 2-0 with the win in Virginia as Avery Shoemaker scored four goals and Kelly Kubach and Leigh Steinberg each twice.
Souderton 11 CB West 6
Amber Lambeth had four goals and two assists, Alexa Schneider scored three goals and Chessie Rehmer added two goals and two assists to help the Indians claim the Suburban One Continental Conference win.
Mount St. Joseph 19, Villa Joseph Marie 3
Olivia Gannon had four goals and two assists and Emilee Ehret added two goals and four assists for the Mount in the Catholic Academies win.
Delaware games
Middletown 9, Dover 6
Three goals each by twins Allison and Emily Pantanzes along with two goals by Kristin Rossi paced the Cavaliers. For the Lady Senators, Allyson Forest led with four goals followed by Paige Casto with two.
Charter 16, Glasgow 0
Five goals by Morgan Lamey, two each by Alex Mash and Josephine Nixon and Molly Ritter paced the Lady Force of Charter.
Polytech 17, Mt. Pleasant 4
Five goals by Jamie Trabaudo, four by Adaleine Stang – who also scored her 100th career goal in the program’s third season – and two by Katherine Richardson paced the Lady Panthers of Polytech.
For the Lady Knights, Alyssa More scored two.
Newark 14, Red Lion Christian 11
Kayla Wehry’s five goal performance along with Carolyn Howard’s three goals and two gaols each from Audrey McMahon and Shawna Chopko paced the Lady Yellowjackets of Newark to a win. For the Lady Lions, Rebecca Bove and Miriam Fieger each scored four goals.
