One hundred and sixty teams are competing this weekend in the inaugural Grind at Tuckahoe Turf Farm in Hammonton, N.J.
The championship-style tourney features teams in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 divisions as well as youth classes. Games begin Friday and championship games are Sunday.
The 2014 Division (Grit Division) includes 20 teams:
CP LAX 2014, Long Island Top Guns 2014 Black, Jersey Thunder Black (2014/15), Metro Green 2014, Long Island Top Guns 2014 Purple, Quaker City Lacrosse (2014/15), MFL 2014 Red Elite, Sepa 2014, Ultimate 2014 Blue, Ultimate 2014 NJ, Intrepid 2014 Elite,Elite 2014
Metacomets, PA Pride 2014, MFL 2014, Orange Elite, Still River 2014, Metro Blue 2014, Synergy 14/15, Xtreme 2014, and Ultimate 2014 Duck.
The tourney is being run by Ultimate Events and Sports.
