Boys
St. Mark’s 11, Caesar Rodney 10, OT
In the first Dave Reynolds Lacrosse Festival Games at Wesley College, five goals by Michael Walsh, and two by Morgan Madonna and James Magnani paced the St. Mark’s Spartans to an 11-10 overtime win over the Riders of Caesar Rodney. For the Riders, Dave Schmidt and Nick Gruel each with three goals and two goals by teammate Thomas Aloe.
Milford 7, Newark 1
The Bucs of Milford registered their first win of the season on two goals each by Matthew Viramontes and Dylan Jones as they defeated the Yellowjackets of Newark by a 7-1 score in the second game of the Dave Reynolds Lacrosse Festival.
Delmar 13, Delmarva 1
Eight goals by Travis Gilmore and two by Colby Cambrion paced the Wildcats of Delmar to a 13-1 win over the Royals of Delmarva Christian.
Smyrna 14, Wilmington Christian 3
Five goals by Andrew Gilbert, three by Luke Russillo, and two by Jordan Kiger paced the Eagles of Smyrna to a 14-3 win over Wilmington Christian.
Delaware Military Academy 19, Alexis I DuPont 9
Five goals each by Matthew Higgins and Paul Wolfe, and three goals each by Nathan Gemmato and Justin Carroll paced the Seahawks of Delaware Military Academy to an 18-9 win over the Tigers of Alexis I DuPont.
Caravel Academy 18, Christiana 0
Four goals by Wilson Forney, three by T. Jacob Shriner and Zachary Blake and two each by Justin Laznik and Bret Melba paced the Buccaneers of Caravel Academy to an 18-0 win over the Christiana Vikings.
Girls
Caesar Rodney 11, St. Mark’s 10
Five goals by Delaney Steele, four by Jenna Rigby, three by Kourtney Olson and two by Megan Card paced the Lady Riders of Caesar Rodney to an 14-13 win over the Lady Spartans of St. Mark’s in the Dave Reynolds Lacrosse Festival Classic. For St. Mark’s, Haley Schweizer erupted for eight goals.
Westtown (PA) 11, Sanford 10
Three goals by Lucy Benson, Kelsey Mendel and Olivia Thompson paced Sanford in defeat as it fell to Westtown by an 11-10 score.
St. Thomas More 19, Brandywine 14
Five goals each by Anna Kelly and Lexi Petrosky, four by Katy Caminsky, and two each by Jena Wilson and Katie McMahon paced the Ravens of St Thomas More to a 19-14 win over the Lady Bulldogs of Brandywine. For the Bulldogs, Holly George and Erin Courtney each recorded five goals.
