ReQRuitme boys’ recruit: St. Mark’s (DE) senior midfielder Walsh commits to Lynchburg

St. Mark’s (DE) senior midfielder Jake Walsh has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Lynchburg College.

College Choice: Lynchburg College

Club Affiliation: 302 Lacrosse

Major lacrosse Honors: 2 time Brine All-American, MVP All-Star Team

Service Projects: Member of the Blue Gold Club that mentors kids with special needs.

What will you major in/study? Athletic Training

Why did you choose Lynchburg? “I chose Lynchburg College for their athletic training program which is complimented by a great lacrosse program.”

What is your High School team’s outlook for the season? “I am excited about this season because we have a lot of talent on our team this year and we have the potential to do very well.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank Coach Z, Nick and Tony Mottola for making me love the sport and wanting to get better, and Coaches Motta and Galbraith for teaching me talents and skills I didn’t know I could attain.

“Thank you Mark Reynolds for giving me the motivation to strive to play at the next level. I would like to thank Paul and Laurie Schweizer for keeping me healthy.

“Last but not least thanks to my family and friends for their support.”
