Kristoffer Boyd

High School: Perkiomen Valley High School

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Attack/Midfielder

College Choice: Gwynedd Mercy University

Club Affiliations: 380 Lacrosse and Black Bear Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: 2012-2013 Viking Spirit Award Winner, 2013 All-Area Honorable Mention

What will you major in/study? Business/Sports Marketing

Why did you choose Gwynedd Mercy? “I chose Gwynedd for several reasons. I love the family atmosphere with the team and around the campus. Gwynedd also has an outstanding business program, and a very favorable student to teacher ratio. I knew right after my first visit with Coach (Dana) Lindstrom and my tour around campus, that Gwynedd was the best fit college for me.”

Outlook for your High School team? “Our team is looking to make a run for the League Championship this year. We are fortunate enough to return a lot of key offensive as well as defensive starters. We hope to win our out of league games as well and make an appearance in the District 1 playoffs.”

Additional Comments: “First and foremost I would like to thank my family for always being there to support me and help me become the young student athlete I am today.

“I would especially like to thank my Grandfather for being my biggest supporter and my Uncle Matt Cubbler for being my personal trainer.

“Special thanks also to my Mother and Father for making sure I always had what I needed to be a successful lacrosse player.

“I would also like to thank all my High School coaches; Bryan Churchey, Chris Defeo, Larry Mo, Steve Kurylo, and Anthony Tornetta for pushing me to work hard everyday and become a better lacrosse player.”
