Penncrest senior attackman/midfielder Robert Logan has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Lynchburg College.

Robert Logan log:

Robert Logan

High school: Penncrest High School

Graduation year: 2014

Position: Attack/Midfield

College choice: Lynchburg College

Club affiliations: NXT 2014, Main Line Lacrosse Club

Major lacrosse honors: Brine All-American sophomore and junior year, Philly Summer Invitational All-Star Team, started varsity freshman, sophomore, and junior year. Stats: 8 goals, 19 assists freshman year; 16 goals, 33 assists sophomore year; 13 goals, 22 assists junior year.

What will you major in/study: Business

Why did you choose school: “I chose Lynchburg because of its reputable academics, fantastic coaching staff, urban campus and dedicated student body. When I visited the school Coach (Steve) Koudelka made it feel like home. The long lasting tradition of a winning program caught my eye and I’m excited to be apart of it.”

Outlook for your high school team: “This next year should be a great year for Penncrest. We only graduated 4 seniors, which leaves high standards for the ones returning. There is no question that we have the talent to go far into the District Tournament; we just need to show it.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my High School coaches, Coach Matsinger, Coach Rumford, and Coach Pettit for their hard work and dedication to the program. I would also like to thank all of my NXT coaches and of course the NXT family.
Lastly, thank you to all of my family and friends for their support throughout the process.”
