Marple Newtown High School senior midfielder David Talda has made a commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Rollins College.

Why did you choose Rollins? “Academically, Rollins has one of the top business programs in the country with a beautiful campus located in Florida that is right along the shores of Lake Virginia. Athletically, I believe Rollins is really trying to make their lacrosse team one that is recognized all throughout the country.”
Outlook for your High School team? “We return all of our starters except for 2 but I think that the young players on our team will really step up and make a difference to prove that Marple should not be overlooked.”
Additional Comments: “I would first like to thank my parents who have spent a lot of their time and money on me so that I would have an opportunity to play lacrosse at a collegiate level.
“I would also like to thank my former coach at Marple (David Jones)for encouraging me to play college lacrosse.
“Lastly, thank you to my current team coach (Michael Miller) and my club team coaches (Jack Devlin, Joe Serio, Greg Flego, and Harry Kleintz) for supporting and helping me through the recruiting process. I really appreciate what all of them have done for me and I am very grateful to have been coached by them.”
