LaSalle College High School senior defenseman Nick Buckley has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Bellarmine University.

What will you major in/study? Business/Pre-Law
Why did you choose Bellarmine? “I chose Bellarmine because from the first time I stepped on campus I knew it was the right place for me. Its great academics and rising program are what attracted me to the University. Coach (Kevin) Burns and Coach (Jim) Mitchell along with some of the players I met had a tremendous outlook on the program and its future. Its location right down the street from Louisville also sold me on the University.”
Outlook for your High School team? “Even though we lost a ton of great seniors, I feel as though hard work and great coaching can bring us back to the Catholic League Championship and State Championship. We have a lot of young talent and leadership from the upperclassmen will help us achieve our goals.”
Additional Comments: “I would first like to thank my parents for all the time and effort they put into my countless sporting events and the unconditional support they have given me. I’d also like to thank my brother for always being by my side and making me the competitor I am today.
