Thomas Elcock

High school: The Loomis Chaffee School, Windsor, CT

Graduation year: 2015

Position: Attackman

College choice: Lafayette College

Club affiliation: Team Central

Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases:
MVP of Philly Showcase 2013, Philly Showcase All-Star 2013, Under Armour Shootout, Baltimore Summer Kick-Off, National 175

What will you major in/study: Economics

Why did you choose school:
“Coach (James) Rogalski made Lafayette seem like home since the first time I stepped on campus. The family atmosphere around the team and the new direction Coach Rogalski is taking the program is something I’m very excited to be apart. In addition, Lafayette’s academic strength made it a very appealing school to me from the beginning of the process.”

Outlook for your high school team: “We are a young team with a new coach in Coach Bill Lee coming to Loomis after leading Brewster to being one of the most successful programs in New England. While our schedule is always ultra competitive I think we will thrive under Coach Lee.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents and sisters for supporting me from the day I decided I wanted to play college lacrosse. I would like to thank Ted Garber for bringing me to Loomis and helping me with this process. I would like to thank Nick Crowley at Team Central for everything he has done. I would like to thank Bill Lee for everything he has done this fall. I would also like to thank Bob Aronson from Medfield for teaching me everything I know about the game.”
