La Salle senior defenseman-LSM Matt Laudadio has committed to play Division III lacrosse at the University of Scranton.
Matt Laudadio log:
High school: La Salle College High School
Year of graduation: 2014
Position: Defense/LSM
College choice: University of Scranton
Club affiliation: Twist
Lacrosse honors: MVP Camp All-Star
Intended major: “I’m going to major in science, not sure specifically what yet.”
Why did you choose school? “I chose the school because it was at the top of my list before their lacrosse was in the equation. I love the campus and feel at home when I’m there. Scranton’s science building is state of the art and it’s exactly what I was looking for in a college.”
Looking back at 2013 and ahead to 2014: ‘We went out and achieved our goal last season of a state championship. With a lot of great senior leadership from our starters who pushed everyone in practice. Next year we hope to repeat last year. Even with a whole new squad of guys I don’t think anythings out of the question with our coaching staff.”
Other comments: “My parents were a huge help for trucking me around to tournaments since I was in middle school. Coach Jack Devlin from Twist has helped me out enormously with contacting coaches and helping me get recruited. Coach Leahy and Resch were also very helpful in guiding me through this process.”
