Hempfield High School senior midfielder Cullen Dussinger has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Denison University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided/Communication and Economics
Why did you choose Denison? “I chose Denison because of the long tradition of lacrosse as well as the excellent academic reputation. I visited Denison and met with Coach (Mike) Caravana spring of my Junior year. I liked what he had to say about the lacrosse program, they are very competitive and successful. The campus has a great atmosphere and the athletic facilities are awesome. I felt very welcome and really liked the people I met.”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “Last year we had a great season, ending with the LL League Championship. We lost a few key players from last year, but we have a solid group of guys on both sides of the field returning this year to continue our success and take it further into playoffs.”
Additional Comments: “My family has been very giving of the time they put aside for me to have a full lacrosse and training schedule over the years. Thank you for the opportunity!
