What will you major in/study? Undecided/Business

Why did you choose PSU? “Penn State is the perfect school for me, as it has elite academics, a hard working athletic mentality, and a fun social life. After speaking with Coach (Jeff) Tambroni, I knew that the team he is looking to build is one that I would like to be a part of. Looking at the facilities with Coaches (Chris) Doctor, (Peter) Toner, and (David) Shriver also contributed to my enjoyment of the university, as my mother and I felt very much at home. Everything felt right about Penn State and I know it is the right place for me.”

What is your team’s outlook for next season? “We are returning many young players that had large impacts on the team last year, so if we keep working hard the season has the potential to be a successful one.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my High School coaches, Coach John Nostrant, Coach Mark Petrone, and Coach Travis Loving, for supporting me through a tough shoulder injury and keeping me up to pace with the rest of the team.

“I would like to thank my Mesa Fresh 2016 coaches, Coach Dave Sowers, Coach Adam Mueller, and Coach Brian Wall for teaching me offensive and defensive skills that improve my game. I would also like to thank Coaches Peter Rohr and Mark Aitken (Mesa Fresh 2015) for being there for me since I was very young to develop me to where I am now. Coach Rohr has been a special mentor for me and has greatly helped me with my college decision process.

“Last but certainly not least I would like to thank my family and friends for loving and supporting me through extremely tough times. With everybody’s support I’ve been able to get to where I am today and I am excited about the future with Haverford and Penn State.”

Other schools considered: UPenn, Princeton, Virginia, Duke
