ReQRuitme boys’ recruit: Haverford School 2015 MF-FO Hervada commits to Delaware

Haverford School rising junior midfielder/face-off specialist Jake Hervada has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Delaware.

Why did you choose the school: “While looking for a school I found that Delaware would be the best fit for me academically and athletically. When I stepped on the campus I loved the school and all it has to offer along with the excellent coaching staff of Coach (Bob) Shillinglaw, Coach (Greg) Carroll, and Coach (Rob) Cross. I knew it was the place for me.”

Thoughts on Past season and 2014 outlook:
“Although we are still going to be a young team I definitely think that we have the potential to be extremely successful this upcoming season.”

Other Comments: “I would like to thank my family first as they have been very supportive in everything I do. I would also like to thank all my coaches starting with the staff at Haverford, John Nostrant, Mark Petrone, Travis Loving, Avery Cook, and Scott Ertel; my Mesa Fresh coaches Peter Rohr, Brad Ament, and Mark Aitken, and finally Peter Samson and all the other Radnor Youth Lacrosse Coaches and Philly Fever Coaches.”
