Central Bucks East senior defenseman William Dempster has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Robert Morris University.

Major lacrosse honors: Selected to represent Bucks County, PA in Keystone State Games (two years). Philly Showcase. Blue Chip 225. Varsity Letter as Sophmore and Junior in lacrosse and Football. Selected to All-Star game at Top 205 in Towson. Made the Top 80 Game at the Under Armour tryouts in Philly. Made the All-Star team at the NXT Summer Invitational. Made the All-Star team at the Summer Slam
What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose Robert Morris? “When I was on campus and met with the lacrosse guys I meshed with them very well. RMU has a great business school and Pittsburgh is a great city.”
Outlook for your High School team? “This year we have about six D1 commits as well as a couple D3. We have many returning starters and I believe that we have the potential to go further than we have gone before. I love working with these guys and we are such a tight knit group that we help each other to constantly improve. This makes us a very good team.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my Head Coach Bruce Garcia and Defensive Coordinator Paul McGovern on helping me through the process of getting recruited and most importantly coaching me to the best of my ability.
“Also I would like to thank my parents for paying for the tournaments and driving me there. If it weren’t for them, I would not be where I am today.
