Bishop Shanahan High School senior midfielder Sean McErlean has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

What will you major in/study? Physical Therapy
Why did you choose Widener? “After touring the campus with my Mom and Coach (Brendan) Dawson I knew right away that Widener was the right fit for me academically and athletically. I also liked what coach Dawson has in mind for the future of his program and I’m really excited to be a part of it.”
Outlook for your High School team? “I am very excited for this spring season. We have a lot of starters coming back from last years team and a ton of new talent coming in this year. I believe that this season will be the best in school history.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my family and friends for supporting me throughout the years. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am now. I would like to thank my coaches Jon Heisman, Paul Meyers, and Eric Carruthers. Also my Club Team coach Jim Schorn.”
