The Maplezone MuckDawgs Lacrosse Club, located just off the Conchester Highway in the Boothwyn/Garnet Valley area of Delaware County, is holding tryouts for its Fall tournament training teams.Maple Zone

The evaluation day will be held on Sunday August 18th here at the Maplezone field house. Click here to register for the evaluation day which is broken into two sessions depending upon grade.

The Maplezone fall teams will begin training on Sunday September 15th and practice for nine consecutive Sundays until November 10. Each team will play in two tournaments: the high school team will play on November 9-10 at the Lax Evolution HS Tourney and November 16-17 at the Philly Fall Brawl, while the youth teams will play November 16-17 at the Philly Fall Brawl and November 23-24 at the Pumpkin Pie Tourney.

In addition, the high school aged players will be exposed to a variety of college coaches at both tournaments and our staff is always available to assist families and players as they venture through the recruiting process.

The coaching staff is professional, knowledgeable, and highly experienced in developing and motivating young players to reach their potential. As a result, each player will receive quality instruction with a fundamental approach to the game focusing on high repetitions of basic skills, while advanced players will also receive position specific training along with an emphasis on team concepts and field awareness to increase their lacrosse IQ.

In addition to the lacrosse training we have also built in to our practice schedule speed and agility sessions facilitated by our in-house Sports Performance Trainer.

The MuckDawgs indoor training facility separates us from the competitors by allowing players to practice regardless of weather. Duke University has recently utilized the facility in preparation to winning the NCAA Division I Championship and experienced firsthand the benefit of having such a great indoor space to practice.

All players receive game shorts, reversible pinnie and shooting shirt along with access to our fitness center. Let us be your complete year round training facility, from lacrosse to fitness our facility has what you need. Please contact Jeff Murray, Director of Lacrosse at: jmurray@maplezone.com with any questions regarding the Maplezone MuckDawgs fall training teams.
