Phillylacrosse.com Girls’ Rankings: Harriton makes big move up to No. 3

Harriton made a big step up last week with its 13-10 win over Conestoga as the Central League heavyweights have begun to knock other off. Only Radnor at 4-0 remains undefeated in the league.

1. Moorestown (5-0) Prev: No. 1 – The Quakers host undefeated Holy Cross on Wednesday.

2. Radnor (6-1) Prev No. 2 – The Red Raiders play at No. 4 Conestoga on Tuesday.

3. Harriton (7-1) Prev: No. 8 – The Rams, now healthy, took a major step forward last week with their victory over then-No. 3 Conestoga and an impressive 21-10 victory Saturday over Notre Dame at Checking for Cancer.

4. Conestoga (6-1) Prev: No. 3 – The Pioneers split in their big week that included games vs. Springfield-Delco (win) and Harriton (loss). On Tuesday they host No. 2 Radnor.

5. Springfield-Delco (7-1) Prev: No. 4 – The Cougars host Garnet Valley on Thursday in a big Central League game.

6. Strath Haven (6-1) Prev: No. 5 – The Panthers host Lower Merion Tuesday in a Central League game.

7. Shawnee (5-0) Prev: No. 6 – The Renegades host rival Lenape on Friday.

8. Boyertown (7-0) Prev: No. 7 – The Bears got tested in a 17-14 PAC-10 win over Spring-Ford.

9. Great Valley (6-0) Prev: No. 9 – The Patriots host No. 8 Boyertown in an intriguing matchup of teams dominating their respective leagues.

10. Garnet Valley (5-2) Prev: No. 10 – The Jags host No. 3 Harriton Tuesday in a key Central League game.

11. Cape Henlopen (5-0) Prev: No. 11 – The Vikings keep rolling; they play at undefeated Polytech on Tuesday.

12. Archbishop Carroll (4-3) Prev: No. 13 – The Patriots have dominated so far in the Catholic League and could have used the non-league game slated for last Friday vs. Radnor (cancelled and won’t be played).

13. Episcopal Academy (4-2) Prev: No. 14 – EA has won four in a row and hosts Penn Charter in the Inter-Ac on Tuesday.

14. Germantown Academy (5-4) Prev: No. 12 – The Pats play Tuesday at Inter-Ac foe Springside.

15. Henderson (6-1) Prev; NR – The Warriors have lost only to No. 6 Strath Haven.

Under Consideration – Cumberland Valley(7-0); Downingtown West (6-2), Hatboro-Horsham (5-1), Lenape (3-2); Manheim Township (7-3), Mount St. Joseph (5-1), North Penn (5-1), Notre Dame (3-3), Unionville (5-1)
