Mesa Fresh 2016 wins Sophomore AA division at Tri-State

Mesa Fresh (PA) 2016 won the Rising Sophomore AA Championship on Sunday at the Tri-State National Festival in Mercer County Park (N.J.).

Mesa Fresh defeated Tri-State, 6-2, and Duke’s L.C., 8-3, in the playoffs and then beat the Turtles, 5-3, in the championship game. Mesa Fresh 2016 went 3 for 3 on the summer – winning Lava Lax, MVP, and Tri-State championships.

The team featured Addison Mueller, Michael Sowers, Sumner Brumbaugh, Alex deMarco, Kyle Anderson, Pierre Armstrong, Colby Reeder, Conor Wall, Tyler Will, Brendan O’Neil, West Mclaughlin, Tommy McNamara, Nick Vernacchio, Garett Cannon, Alex Wagner, Cody Mazurek, Cole Thomas, Luke Desperito, Liam Hare, Andrew Westby, Henry Winebrake, and Nick Cardile.
