Wilson West Lawn senior defense-midfield Samantha Witycyak has made a commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Slippery Rock University.

What will you major in/study? Psychology

Why did you choose Slippery Rock? “I chose Slippery Rock because I really felt like I could connect with the players and the coaches. The campus is also beautiful and they have everything I could ask for.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “I believe that if everyone works as a family, there is no way anyone can stop us. I think that next season should go really well and hopefully we will have a good outcome.”

Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my club coaches for pushing me and shaping me into the player I am today and also my High School coach. If it wasn’t for them I wound not be where I am at today.”
