Strath Haven senior attack Kathryn Restrepo has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at American University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose the school? “I chose American because of its outstanding academics and because I love its location in Washington D.C. Becoming a part of this great lacrosse program is an amazing opportunity. Coach (Emma) Wallace and Coach (Colleen) McCaffrey are talented coaches and I can’t wait to work with them.”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “Last year we had a strong team and we were very successful. We graduated some great seniors but I am extremely confident in our team this year. With many returning starters and a lot of very talented underclassmen I have no doubt that we will continue to do well.”
Other comments: I would like to thank my parents and siblings for their unbelievable support; they make everything I do possible. I would also like to thank all of the people who have coached me throughout my entire lacrosse career and taught me to play and to love the game of lacrosse. Specifically I want to thank my Strath Haven coaches, Rachel Busza and Laura Patton, my club coaches Michele DeJuliis, Anne and Emily Pillion, Jenny Duckenfield, and Maggie Forker.
