Eva Civitella

High School: Radnor High School

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Attack/Midfield

College Choice: Marquette University

Club Affiliation: STEPS Elite Philly

Major lacrosse honors: Nike Elite 120, January, 2012 (leader board for goals and ground balls)

Academic honors: Distinguished Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Marquette? “When I started to look at colleges, I discovered that I wanted a Catholic, City school. I have also always been a huge fan of Big East teams. When I went to Milwaukee this summer, I fell in love with Marquette, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It is a great campus in an exciting city and has the big sports team feel to it that I really wanted. I am also really excited to be playing in a new lacrosse program with coaches that have a competitive and really positive attitude.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We graduated a lot of talented players in 2012. Our team has a lot of determination, and we are committed to doing everything we can to win back the State Championship.”

Additional comments: “I want to thank my coach Brooke Fritz. I could not have gotten over my injury, gotten back on the field, and committed to Marquette without her help and support. I also want to thank my family for always being there for me.”

Other schools considered: Duquesne
