Gwynedd Mercy Academy rising senior midfielder Morgan Meehan has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Quinnipiac University.

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Quinnipiac because it was the perfect balance of everything I was looking for both academically and athletically. The campus is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with my decision!”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “Next year is definitely going to be weird without last year’s seniors, since our two grades grew together as a team. However, we have a lot of strong players and a strong coaching staff. I think we will have an awesome and successful season.”
Other comments: “A huge thanks to my parents for driving me to every practice, game, and tournament. They have always cheered me on! Thanks also to Michele DeJuliis, Jen Duckenfield, and Anne Pillion from Ultimate Goal. They helped me develop my skills and navigated me through the college process.. Not only did they encourage me as a player, they helped me realize how important a person’s character is on and off the field. Shout out to Jay Smith, who trains/kills me in the off season teaching me training techniques that I will take to college. My college process would not have gone as smoothly without Tom Kovic’s guidance.”
