Longstreth girls’ recruit: Council Rock South senior midfielder Damirgian signs with Millersville

Council Rock South senior midfielder Jamie Damirgian has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division II lacrosse at Millersville University.

Major lacrosse honors: Four year Varsity starter and letter winner, Second team Suburban One National Conference (sophomore and junior year), Honorable Mention Bucks County All Golden Team (sophomore and junior year), Team Captain Junior and Senior Year, Fab 40 All Star Team in Philly Showcase

Academic honors, service: English Honors Society, President of Student Advisory Board

What will you major in/study?
Medical Field

Why did you choose the school? “I felt very comfortable with the players and I love the coaches. Between academics and athletics, Millersville is the best fit for me.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for 2013?
“We have a strong senior class that has grown together for the past three years. I think we have great leadership and team chemistry which I hope will lead us to the playoffs.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my Bucks Select coaches, Steph and Sarah Magnone, and my high school coaches, Kara Dimarco, Cara Sweeny and Erica Hellerstein.
